I was sleeping the day off after working night shift, and kept waking up to the sound of helicopters! At first I thought "Geez the lawnmower is loud".... I got out of bed at about 3pm after a pretty short restless sleep to discover a forest fire being faught not far from my house! The water bombers were making trips back and forth from the lake to the fire....here is a shot from my back deck...that is the neighbours roof! The plane looked MUCH closer than in this photo! A few hours later, the fire is out and the firetrucks started coming out of the bush as well! Scary when it's that close!

Happy 42nd Anniversary to my parents today!!
Off to work a night shift tonight! I remembered about photo of the day as I parked my vehicle..so this one is taken with my cell phone! Not much to see from the parking lot but the hospital!
